Introduction

Hi there, I am Lucy, a wannabe art student,  surprised and delighted to be accepted on to an Portfolio Art Course, in my home town of Clonmel.  

This Blog is a journey through my Portfolio year, where I post my work, and share my thoughts on the process. It's a useful archive too, which I guess I will look back on in years to come; oh technology, how wonderful art thou! Even as the air turns blue around me, while I  try in vain to upload images and learn about 'the blog'.  But hey, thats why I'm a student again, it's all about learning new things, flexing my brain, trying to be open and curious.  It's all good!!

I have chosen my Blog name (Hedgerow art) as I live in the heart of rural south Tipperary, surrounded by fields & glorious hedges.  Just as you are what you eat, so  am I a child of the soil.
